Privacy policy

Christian Medical Mission (“CMM”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and how we protect it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message. We email these to CMM so we can reply to you.
• Mission trip interest form: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, church or organization, group size, preferred timeframe and message. We email these to CMM to follow up about trips. This form does not collect passport, health or other sensitive information.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address and, optionally, your name. We store these, along with the date and the consent wording you agreed to, to send you our newsletter.
• Donations: online gifts are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach CMM’s website or servers. Stripe shares with CMM the information needed to record your gift, such as your name, email address, billing address and the amount.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to respond to you, to organize mission trips, to send the newsletter you requested, and to process and acknowledge donations, including for tax receipts and our own record-keeping.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this website:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and stores newsletter sign-ups.
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from spam and abuse. It may process technical information about your browser and device to tell people apart from bots.
• Stripe processes online donations.
• Resend delivers form submissions to CMM by email.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it measures overall visits without using cookies or identifying individual visitors.

Keeping your information safe

All traffic to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Form submissions are checked for spam and validated before they are processed, and we limit who can access the information you send us.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by contacting us. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Mission trip participation for minors is arranged directly with parents or guardians.
